Conservative line/stub geometries for operational, under-construction, implementation-stage, and planned cross-border links.

Summary

This layer contains conservative line or gateway-stub geometries for Nepal's cross-border electricity links. It is used to show that trade access depends on physical interconnection routes as well as the gateway points listed elsewhere in the explorer.

What It Represents

This layer draws cross-border links as conservative endpoint connectors or gateway stubs rather than only points. It makes visible the fact that trade is a physical network problem before it is a market story.

How To Read It

Use it to compare operational, under-construction, implementation, and planned links. It helps explain why eastern, central, and western Nepal have different export and import possibilities.

Coverage / Method

The layer covers 10 cross-border link features listed in Map Inventory. Geometries are intentionally conservative endpoint connectors or stubs and do not claim full route-grade alignment, especially on the India-side segments.

Caveats

Planned or implementation-stage lines are not bankable capacity until completed and operational. Gateway stubs are intentionally conservative and do not claim the full India-side route.
